Slapping Some Paint Around

So we primed and we planned and we purchased some paint….and then the fun REALLY started!

Our trusty crew started with the deep blue background – it took a lot of coats!

We added a sponge layer to create some depth and texture.

And then it was time for some features and details!

This planet went through a few phases – including fancy science to make a perfect(ish) circle and several rounds of shading.

We’ve got a cloudy nebula…

…a fancy-schmancy spiral galaxy…

…and a WHOLE LOT of stars! And these aren’t even the final looks, so stay tuned for more FLUID MOVEMENT: Behind the Glitter.
